This pop-up experience will take place at a modern, private location selected for its natural light and beautiful, minimal design. Both the natural light studio and private adjacent garden will be available for your session. I can’t wait to photograph in the space - it is an absolute dream space with a strong east bay vibe that gets all my photographer juices flowing!

I’ll send you a prep guide with suggestions and links and we’ll hop on a call to talk about the details. Being photographed showing a bit more skin than usual can feel vulnerable. I incorporate robes and draping to find just the right amount of exposure for you. My boudoir portraits often lean toward implied nudes that focus more on the suggestion of a woman’s curves.

I’ve never been drawn to boudoir photography that looks like a lingerie model. I adore photographing women who are in connection with themselves. Women who feel centered and at peace with themselves and their bodies are beautiful and should be celebrated. This may be a messy bun and an oversized sweatshirt that falls off their shoulders; a sheer blouse and tousled hair; a woman in her private space with her robe slipping down and her cup or tea. I photograph in color, but I’m pretty gaga for black and white images. I often convert my portrait to B&W to highlight the expression or form. Some photos speak to me in color and others demand to be B&W. Some of the time you just feel it.
